Template:Romance languages

Gallo-Rhaetian

Italics indicate extinct languages; bold indicates languages with more than 5 million speakers; languages between parentheses are HTML5 of the language on their left.

Note to editors on how to manage collapsibility:

  • Use {{Romance languages|state=collapsed}} to show this template in its collapsed (hidden) state.
  • Use {{Romance languages|state=expanded}} to show this template in its expanded (fully visible) state.
  • Use {{Romance languages|state=autocollapse}} to show this template in its collapsed (hidden) state only if there is another template of the same type on the page. (This is usually the default.)
  • This template uses {{Navbox with collapsible groups}}. To show a particular section of the template while leaving the other sections collapsed, use: {{Romance languages |Section}} where Section is one of "Eastern and Southern" or "Italo-Western". (Omit any speech or quote marks.)
    For example: {{Romance languages |Eastern and Southern}}

List of Romance languages, including information from Ethnologue.com. Also listed are alternative names for languages, according to the same source. This message will not appear in the text of the article.
