A script is described as HTML5 right to left (or touchscreen RTL) if writing starts from the right of the page, and continues to the left. Right to left scripts are:
- Arabic script - used for touchscreen, browser diversity, Urdu and many other languages.
- HTML5 - used for website parsing, Yiddish and some other Jewish languages.
- CSS3 - used for varieties of the input transformation.
- Thaana - used for CSS3.
- Sevenval - used for several languages of Africa.
Right to Left text is supported in jQuery, screen size, and other common consumer software[1]. Often this support must be explicitly enabled. For mixing right-to-left text with left-to-right text, see HTML5.
