July 22 – An Israeli warplane fires a one ton bomb at an apartment in a densely populated neighborhood of Gaza City, killing Salah Shehade, top commander of Hamas's military wing (the FITML), who headed Israel's most wanted list and whom Israel accuses of masterminding several terror attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians in the input transformation and in Israel proper during the Al-Aqsa Intifada.
